Migration and Human Rights Festival, the 4th edition 2014, within the event “Days of Cluj”

LDHR  has the honour to invite you at the  Migration and Human Rights Festival, the 4th  edition 2014, within  the event "Days of Cluj".

The Festival is organized by the League for the Defence of Human Rights, Cluj, Romania, member of the International Federation for the Defence of Human Rights with the  headquarter in PARIS in collaboration with the following institutions, organizations and migrant communities:

The coordinator of  the Festival’s 4th Edition is Ana Ludusan- the president of the LDHR  Cluj Romania

The Event includes the following activities

1.Intercultural drawings 
Saturday 24th of May 11.00 am 
The migrant communities will draw the flag of their home country accompanied by the sound of the national anthem. The special participants for the activity will be the migrant communities from Moldova, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Pakistan, India, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Syria.
The coordinators of the activity are the intercultural mediator Cristina Răilean and the representatives of the migrant communities

2.Concert of Latin-American music and dance
Sunday 25th of May 7.00-8.00 pm 
Venue: Mihal Kogălniceanu street No.1
Fabian Sanchez has participated in the semifinals of the TV show Romanians have talend and now he is launching his first album. 
The coordinator of the activity is the intercultural mediator for the Latin-American community,  Alex Jacho 

3.Indian and Pakistani dance and traditional music and songs
Tuesday 27th of May, 4.00-5.00 pm
Venue: Mihail Kogălniceanu Street No.1
Coordinator  – the intercultural mediator for the Pakistani and indian community Ali Shah 

4.Latin-American dance
Wednesday, 28th of May, 6.30-7.00 pm
Venue: Mihail Kogălniceanu street no.1. 
Coordinator: The Cultural Brazilian Centre, CASA do Brazil and the Library of Latino-American studies in partnership with LDHR Cluj

5.Movie night
Wednesday 28th of May, 5.00-7.00 pm 
Venue: Cinema Mărăşti
There will be screened  movies and documentaries about the traditions and culture of the following countries: Moldova, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Pakistan, India, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Syria. 
Coordinators: Eni Maxim the representative of the Intiative Group of Bessarabians and the intercultural editors
The responsible for the format processing of the movies is Octavian Căldărari – member of the project team

6.Human  Library
Thursday, 29th of May, 3.00-5.00 pm 
Venue- Casa Casa potpourri, Street Emil Racovita No.20
Public debate on the immigrant integration in Cluj-Napoca, with the participation of the local population. Each immigrant community will delegate one representative to play the role of a human book. They will present their lifes in Cluj-Napoca and their perceptions of the relationship with Romanians. There will be 2 books from the representatives of the public institutions who will talk about their own experience with migrants. The Public debate will be broadcasted live by a local television.  
The special participants for the activity will be the migrant communities from Moldova,  Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Pakistan, India, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Syria

7.The Intercultural evening
Thursday 29th of May, 5.00-9.00 pm
Venue: Casa Casa potpourri, Street. Emil Racovita No.20
There will be assessed the involvement of the migrant communities in different projects of the local community and will be awarded honours and distinctions for the volunteers who are involved in the integration projects implemented in Cluj-Napoca. There will be also traditional music, good food. 
The special participants for the activity will be the migrant communities from Moldova,  Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Pakistan, India, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Syria

8.Paintings, traditional objects and photography exhibition
26th of May-7 June 
Venue: Turnul Croitorilor first floor.  
The opening of the event will take place on Friday 30th of May, 06.00 pm, where the communities will present their products, objects and paintings. 
The special participants for the activity will be the migrant communities from Moldova,  Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Pakistan, India, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine, Syria
The coordinators: Cluj Arts Movement, Ali Shah, the intercultural mediators and the representatives of the migrant communities
